Bastien Treptel, a former hacker turned cybersecurity advocate, started his journey in the world of hacking at a young age. Caught by the police at just 16 years old for hacking a Big 4 Bank and accessing credit cards, he decided to reform his ways.
Bastien founded CTRL:CYBER, an Australian information security firm aimed at combating cybercrime. In November 2021, he sold the company for millions, and now focuses on raising awareness about the dangers of cybercrime and providing guidance on protecting businesses and personal lives.
